Are you keen to learn how to make candles? In this hands-on workshop from Aroma Shak, you'll create two soy wax candles, tea light candles and a beautifully fragranced diffuser oil for your own reed diffuser and pretty it up with organic flowers and crystals - if you choose to of course!
With expert instruction from Lisa, a candle maker with 15 years of experience, you will learn everything you need to know about creating your own soy wax candles and a reed diffuser through step-by-step instructions, demonstrations and hands-on practice.
Don't worry if you don't have any experience, as this class is completely beginner-friendly, with a casual and fun atmosphere. You will be gently guided by Lisa in a safe, supportive, and friendly environment to learn the basics of making candles.
In this class you will learn:
- The benefits of soy wax and why we are using it.
- Why it is so important to use the correct size wick.
- The basic techniques of soy candle making.
- How to add fragrance oils and colour ( optional) the correct way.
- Candle safety.
- How to create your own reed diffuser oil.
- There will also be time at the end of the class for any questions you have to be answered.

I've attended the Candles Soy Wax and Reed Diffuser classes with Lisa. The venue was big and comfortable. Champagne and nibbles are provided. I enjoyed too much! Lisa she's very professional, knowledgeable and helpful with all the answers I have. I will definitely will be joining another skincare classes in the future. Great value for money. On arrival, you will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of bubbles, tea or coffee and a break for nibbles during the class.
DIY kits will be available to purchase after the class if you wish to continue practising your new skills at home. . At the end of class, you'll leave with two soy wax candles, tealights and a reed diffuser to take home and add some lovely scents to your living space!
